Arbeidsomstandigheden in Palestina-Hebron: Onderwijs

In The Daily ordeal of getting to school in Hebron (16-12-2011) wordt beschreven hoe in Hebron op de bezette Westelijke Jordaanoever voor leerlingen en leraren hun dagelijkse gang naar school - de Qurduba School - er uitziet. Logisch bij de vakbeweging om dit gewoon eens te bezien door een ARBO-bril.

To cite one of myriad examples, Ma’an News Agency reported in November 2007 that “right wing Israeli settlers broke into the courtyard of the Qurduba school … attempted to set fire to the building … attempted to rip the doors off the building and succeeded in knocking over walls, trampling flower beds and blocking the path to the school with rocks … a group of children, armed with axes, attempted to break the water pipes that supply the school. In Education or Mind Infection beschrijft de Israelische hoogleraar Nurit Peled hoe het komt dat Israelische soldaten komen tot het als minderwaardigen behandelen van Palestijnen. Het Israelische onderwijssysteem speelt hierin een centrale rol.
