Israeli occupation forces today uprooted 500 olive trees in the village of Skaka to the east of Silfeet city in the West Bank, in order to expand nearby Israeli settlements.
Witnesses told SAFA News Agency that the Israeli army imposed a curfew on the village, preventing its residents from leaving their houses before IOF soldiers began uprooting the trees.
Local residents said Israel plans to expand the nearby Nafih Hananyia settlement outpost and the settlement of Rihleem built on lands of Skaka village.

The International community have regularly criticized Israel for building settlements on Palestinian lands, which Israel has continually ignored.
Mostly recently, Israel approved a plan to build hundreds of housing units in Jerusalem.
